Yes. Prayas Foundation is registered under Section 12A and 80G of the Income Tax Act. Donations made by Indian taxpayers are eligible for a 50% deduction from taxable income. You will receive an official donation receipt and 80G certificate by email within 7 working days.

Yes. Prayas is FCRA (Foreign Contribution Regulation Act) approved, which means we are legally authorised to receive donations from NRIs and international donors. Please write to csr@prayasfoundation.org for wire transfer details.

We accept in-kind donations of books, school supplies, medicines, and computer equipment in good condition. Please email us before sending anything so we can confirm current needs and logistics. We do not accept used clothing.

We publish a detailed annual impact report and audited financial statements every year on our website. We are also listed and independently verified on GiveIndia and Credibility Alliance. Our fund utilisation rate is 96% — meaning 96 paise of every rupee goes directly to programmes.

Absolutely. We are registered under Schedule VII of the Companies Act for CSR activities. We work with companies on project-specific CSR partnerships, employee volunteering, and multi-year programme grants. Write to csr@prayasfoundation.org to discuss a partnership.
